A Funny Story

Emma is cracking me up.  She learned the word knucklehead somewhere ( I am not sure where)  and has been using it a lot. I know I shouldn't laugh but it is hysterical when she calls people "Knucklehead". Yesterday we were leaving a birthday party and she was walking around saying "Bye Knucklehead" to all the guests. Fortunately it was loud and she is somewhat difficult to understand. Tonight we called my dad and she said,  "Hi Knucklehead Pop Pop."  Now she knows we think it is funny and she laughs when she says it.  Should I stop her?  Yes! but I think I might let her say it just a few more times so I can get it on my flip video. Then we are putting the cabosh (spelling?) on it.

One of the sweetest boys I know and his little dog too!

My girlfriend and her family got a dog for Christmas.  They wanted some photos of their little boy and dog before the dog got too big. We ventured outside after some snow and got some really cute shots.  I love these photos. I think they capture the sweetness of the little boy and the playfulness of a puppy.    I love the candid ones of them with the stick in the snow.  Getting some with both of them posed, still, and looking at the camera was virtually impossible but I think they still came out so cute.  Here is a peek at a few of the photos.

Mmm...Snow.

Such a sweet face!

One of my favorites.

Love this one!
This last photo is my favorite. I know that there isn't anything spectacular about it but I think it tells such a good story.  I think it is real and sweet and a simple everyday moment.  It reminds me a what it is like to have a dog, a really good companion, and friend.

I hope they have lots of good adventures and memories together!  I am glad I was able to capture some of their first weeks together.  xo.

p.s.  I promise to be a better blogger.
