My girlfriend and her family got a dog for Christmas. They wanted some photos of their little boy and dog before the dog got too big. We ventured outside after some snow and got some really cute shots. I love these photos. I think they capture the sweetness of the little boy and the playfulness of a puppy. I love the candid ones of them with the stick in the snow. Getting some with both of them posed, still, and looking at the camera was virtually impossible but I think they still came out so cute. This last photo is my favorite. I know that there isn't anything spectacular about it but I think it tells such a good story. I think it is real and sweet and a simple everyday moment. It reminds me a what it is like to have a dog, a really good companion, and friend.
I hope they have lots of good adventures and memories together! I am glad I was able to capture some of their first weeks together. xo.
